Oslo's main library opened in 2020 and offers thousands of books, a cinema, workshops, a café, free events, and a stunning view of the Oslofjord. In 2021, it was named Library of the Year by IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions).

  • Signage: Fire alarms can be perceived by the visually and hearing impaired. Stairs are marked and non-slip. Glass doors and other exposed areas are marked. Emergency exits are clearly marked and adapted for wheelchair users.
  • Interpretation and telephone loop: No.
  • Tickets: Free. Possible with companion.
