Ida Grande Kaurin

As a composer, Ida is focused on writing music that exists at the intersection of stillness and momentum, using sounds that fascinate her both as disruptive elements and as parts of larger textures. She often expands and contrasts acoustic soundscapes with electronics and light design, and explores the use of non-musical elements in her works.

Christopher Håård

I am a composer whose works often can be characterized by an exploration of musical spaces between the vulnerable and the banal, where fragile and unstable ranging to abrasive sounds are allowed its presence - as well as playful musical idioms, displaying great naiveté, exist in juxtaposition. This range of possible musical expressions within that framework, is something that particularly excites me when composing.
