Ultima hosts a multicultural mash-up during the by:Larm festival. The artists on this triple bill have connections to Mongolia, Palestine and South East Asia.

London born cellist Lucinda Chua creates sensual and emotional song-landscapes blending strings, soft keyboards and intimate vocals. Her debut album, YIAN, came out in 2023 on the 4AD label. As a cellist she has performed live with FKA Twigs and Stars of the Lid. Chua also takes part in Our Voices at Ultima.

Rasha Nahas is an alternative rock singer and guitarist from Palestine. Shecurrently lives in Berlin after a spell in Haifa. Her songs, sung in Arabic, are full of honest lyrics and sense of nostalgic longing, as well as contrasts betweenthe urban and rural experience.

Based in Munich, Germany, vocalist Enji combines jazz with traditional folk and throat-singing from her native Mongolia. Her music evokes dreams, captures breathtaking views, or recounts village visits, all unfolding through rhythmic Mongolian melodies. Her third album, Ulaan, came out in 2023.
