In DNA?AND?, creative musicians with an without Down syndrome channel their creative freedom through improvisation. The collective has been playing improvised music since 2013, and also experiments with visual art, text and movement. They have collaborated with artists such as Anla Courtis, NU Unruh (Einstürzende Neubauten), Hamid Drake, Hans Magnus Ryan (Motorpsycho), Ole Henrik Moe & Kari Rønnekleiv and more.
Experimental bassist and vocalist Guro Skumsnes Moe appeared on the album Breach Us (2020) by the Norwegian metal duo Hymn. Now her own tempestuous free rock band MoE joins forces with Hymn’s Markus Støle and Ole Ulvik Rokseth. Their collaboration Before The End is a unique concert work written and performed by two of Norway’s fiercest noise-rock ensembles, both fighting to escape the confines of conventional rock and metal.
