Pamphlets, pamphlets, pamphlets!

On the occasion of Arne Nordheim Composer’s Prize 2022, we have made a pamphlet about contemporary music.

In Greek, pamphilos "The same is rarely said about art music from our own time. In the music itself, there is a lively debate about what music is and can be. But currently the verbal debates about art music are fewer. For that reason, we are calling for pamphlets, pamphlets, pamphlets!

Like contemporary music, pamphlets are temporary and ephemeral, but also carries commitment, love, resistance, independence. Take one with you, read it, sing it, spread it, fold a paper airplane out of it and send the plane out into the unknown from a roof. And feel free to write counter-pamphlets and opinion pieces for the upcoming pamphlets which will be issued in August and September.
