Nordic Green Road Map

This informal and solution-oriented networking session includes a presentation of the new Nordic Green Roadmap for Cultural Institutions. This is an information booklet produced by the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands as part of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Sustainable Living programme (2021–24). It is packed with practical tips, resources and action plans to help arts institutions to analyse and cut down their carbon footprints. A chance to hear various representatives sharing their experiences in this field, ask questions and join the discussion.

Gunn Hernes from Nordic House Faroe Islands will provide an introduction to the roadmap and the Nordic Council’s Sustainable Living program, offering insights into their development and purpose.

Linnéa Svensson, project leader and author of the Nordic Green Roadmap, will present the publication’s main themes, from travel impacts and material usage to community engagement and circular economy. She will invite the audience to ask questions and contribute their own examples throughout the discussion.

Coffee and pastries will be served. The event will be held in English.
