In this dramedy from 2025, music is not merely an element that enhances emotions or sets the mood; it is a central theme woven into the narrative. The story depicts how the children of a deceased composer sort through their father's belongings and memories, revealing how his life and relationship with music have left an indelible mark on their own life paths.
Director Arild Østin Ommundsen will provide a brief introduction before the film screening. After the film, there will be a Q&A session with Arild and Heloisa Amaral, Director of the Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival, focusing on the film's use of music. The film score is composed by Thomas Dybdahl in collaboration with Nils Henrik Asheim and the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra.
